Log Activated Lighting
Or: How server logs run my home lighting
Just for fun, I wired up a neat trick which uses the cloud based log analysis tool from LogEntries to watch my server logs, then when it spots an error condition it automatically makes some lights in my house flash different colours. I wrote it up in a guest blog for the company LogEntries but the video pretty much explains most of it:
